Album Groups

Album Groups Display

Choose categories by which your site will group albums in your collection. Display appears in justified right navigation in non-mobile pages. Choose whether genre text in albums link to genre categories (recommended). Category Options are: Genre, Submission Round, Release Date Year, Alphabetical Groups, Badge Tag, Spoken Language, and Custom Grouping. We recommend 2 - 4 groups.

Categories Setup

Click “Reset” to get the values your site is configured with or contains, then remove any values you don’t want included in the groupings, and put the remaining values in the order you want them to show. Enter display text as you want it to appear on the public site in the box marked “Corresponding block display titles.”

Custom Groupings can be used to highlight any variable associated with albums, for example record label or intended audience. Contact us for assistance in setting this up or see the webinar linked to below.
