Allows admins to configure and edit content for About, FAQ, Curator, and Special Message Pages.

To get started: Create a new page (in the left-hand queue), assign it a purpose and give it a title. Or, click on an existing page in the left-hand queue to edit. You can add the following types of sections to any page: Formatted Text, FAQ (i.e. dropdown text), Photo Profile (especially useful for curator pages where you’d like to add photos and bios), and Divider. All text sections here use markdown, so you’re able to add links and formatting.

Note that while About and FAQ pages appear by default, admins need to enable Curator and Special Message pages. This is done on the Configuration page under “Optional Site Sections” (the third list item on the left side of the page) by checking the relevant options and saving the site’s configuration.

Special Message display options:

When you Enable a ‘Special Message’ Page on your Configuration page, you will see configuration options for both automatic display and a Main Nav link for your Special Message Page.

Special Message Pages can be displayed in the following ways:

• Modal: a dismissible popup message that appears on your home page)
• Replace Banners on main page with the Special Message content
• Display instead of main page (i.e. replace all main page content with the Special Message Page)
• Do not show automatically

You can also select “Add to Main Nav” to add a link to the Special Message page to the main navigation on your site. You can select this in addition to any of the automatic display options described above, or on its own. Choose an icon to appear with the page link.
